The fourth grade is learning expressions related to time. After listening to a tape about Zoé's week, we organized her activities by day. Then students made their own list of activities they do during an imaginary week.
Currently we are making a mobile with times hanging in order from short to long.
Following is the vocabulary we are learning:
une seconde - a second
une minute - a minute
une heure - an hour
un jour - a day
une semaine - a week
un mois - a month
un an/une année - a year
Days of the week: lundi, mardi, mercredi, jeudi, vendredi, samedi, dimanche
Months:janvier, février, mars, avril, mai, juin, juillet, août, septembre, octobre, novembre, décembre
Quelle heure est-il? - What time is it?
Il est....heure/s. - It is ...o'clock.
