Shumlin at TGS

As part of Foreign Language week, Jeff Shumlin came to speak to the 7th and 8th grades about the programs his organization, Putney Student Travel, leads throughout the world. Jeff showed slides and presented the programs for France, Spain and Costa Rica. Students listened raptly and asked questions at the end to get a feel for when they might take advantage of such a trip. Jeff stressed the importance of Foreign Language in his life and the notion that having another language gives students a key to new horizons.
