Kindergarten

We are just beginning to learn family names...la soeur, le frère, la mère, le père, as well as words for extended family. We discuss emotions each day and usually talk about weather and days of the week. Recently we began reading a book called Le Chat perdu. A long story about a young boy whose cat disappears, this story brings in vocabulary from every area; days of the week, months, foods, family, seasons, places....and the kids love it. We will be reading from this book over the next several weeks.
